Between Fort William and Inverness... After 7 hours of road by bus ! The middle of nowhere, in fact ! Glengarry forest, Loch Garry, Loch Loyne...So amazing ! I thought of the movie with Al Pacino when I was in the forest of Glengarry. Just for a minute. And I understood why David Mamet had given this title to his screenplay... Glengarry ! There is "Struggle for life, making money, Dog-it-Dog"! And there is Glengarry, a peaceful place ! I know where is the truth !

Castle of the Assynt MacLeod. In 1650, the MacLeod received the marquess of Montrose. They betrayed him. He was put to death in Edinburgh. His ghost belongs to Ardvreck Castle now. I saw him !

My heart's in the Highlands, my heart is not here,My heart's in the Highlands a-chasing the deer -A-chasing the wild deer, and following the roe;My heart's in the Highlands, wherever I go.

Farewell to the Highlands, farewell to the NorthThe birth place of Valour, the country of Worth;Wherever I wander, wherever I rove,The hills of the Highlands for ever I love.

Robert Burns

There's no bad weather in Scotland! Only a weather which changes ! The landscapes are atypical ; They can be dark, or bright! The sky is of an incredible intensity! I've been fascinated by everything I've seen. Scotland is in me, I think ! A ground so "tortured" but so peaceful. A ground of inspiration !
