The Down town : busy but interesting, it shows the way of life of Jordanian people

Amman in 2 Words : Safe City with so respectful People

Amman City

One Day in the Dead Sea :

You don’t really need more than one journey there, there is a Jett Bus at 8.30 pm from the Abdali Station and Back at 5 pm , you can go to the public beach but it’s more comfortable to go inside an hôtel with showers ( so important after swimming in the Dead Sea so Salty … )

I Recommend Ramada resort ( 25 JD : shower, Skin treatment with natural Clay , Lunch )

- Where to Eat :

Hasheem restaurant : a must to , so cheap and tasty typical and local food.

Jordan is a nice country to visit all the year because of the good weather almost every time.

Basically, Vietnam was in the plan later, but I decided to go earlier to join by surprise my best Amiral and his wife Yesmina at the end of their stay in Hanoi, it was the best feeling I had since my trip beginning 🥰

Nothing better than meeting friends somewhere 😀

We had a gastronomic visit that evening, with Jessica, we tried many types of local dishes with some cultural points in the same time, it was interesting and of course tasty trip 😋

Gastronomic visit in Hanoi

The day after, it was time for me to have a rest of my long travel from Kathmandu to Hanoi

I spent few days to train, visit the city, the important number of museums ( the Vietnamien history is interesting, and the resilience of the people is impressive)

5 Days in Malaysia :

The best way to be in the Ramadon mood, Kuala Lampur ( already visiter in 2017 ) is completely changing in Ramadan, many out side Iftar spots, but the most important was in the independence place ( Merdeka Square)

Iftar in Merdeka Square

All the quarter of the city were animated by night, the atmosphere was so soothing, I really enjoyed visiting the night markets, Malaysian people are so friendly, the food was good inspired by a mix of indien and Chinese kitchen

Special thanks to Eng Sheau Ching, a friend met in Nepal, she took the time to show me the most importants parts of Kuala Lampur by a walk trip, nothing better than a visit with locals 😀

KL in Ramadan

Time to Leave Malaysia full of good memories ❤️

2 Days in Jakarta :

2 important arguments to visit Jakarta : The biggest mosque in Asia ( capacity : 120 000 persons ), and just in front of the masque, a big church ( so meaningful ) 🙏🏻

and the density of people there, otherwise nothing interesting : big city with many high buildings and as expected so noisy but with less pollution than Kathmandu for example ( You feel the difference between the Japanese influence in Indonesia vs the Chinese influence in Nepal)

2 days in Jakarta

4 days in Yogyakarta ( Djodja ) :

What a feeling when I was just arrived, I really liked this city, there is something special about this city

I stayed in Maliaboloro living house, not so far from the famous Maliaboro Road : animated road with many restaurants and shops, so living road with a special atmosphere, everybody was happy there, dancing singing, and smiling…

Beautiful Djodja 🥰

1 day trip to the 2 famous temples around Djodja :

We began with waking up early to be in a good viewpoint at the sunrise, it was a bit cloudy but always amazing to see…

Merapi Volcano and Borobudur Temple view

So, the first stop is Borobudur Temple, the biggest Boudhist temple, really big, we had also a very interesting Guide who explained all the history about Boudhism and this temple.

Borobudur Temple

Time to visit the biggest Hindu temple, located in Prambanan :

Prambanan Hindu Temple

Breaking the fast in Jogokariyan Masjid was also a special experience, all the people were helpful, kind and always smiling 😊

Ramadan in Djodja

4 days expedition to explore the wild part of Java Island :

I booked with Indotravel, a quiet expensive but well organized without any bad surprise

1st day : Discovering the amazing Tumpak Sewu Waterfalls

Tumpak Sewu Waterfalls

2 nd day, early trek ( 3 am ) to the Mont Bromo and the volcano still actif, what a feeling when I was just on the crater’s peak , specially the deep sound of the earth inside the volcano 🌋

Bromo Volcano

3rd Day, after a small rest and 6 hours by car, we arrived to a village close to Mont kawah Ijen , the trek began at 1 am, more difficult this one, bit crowded but so special with the sulfur mines, the pink lake inside the crater and the blue fire.

The sad thing was that Sulfur porters were working in very bad conditions with a small salary, gouvernement has to stop this type of work by any way, it’s not human …

Kawah Ijen Volcano

I really loved this island, Java is authentic and special, you miss something if you come to indonesia without visiting it

Time to go to Bali by ferry, I stayed in Ubud for 3 days, to have a rest after this expedition

The last day in Ubud, I booked a tour around the city to visit the most important places to see

Ubud is a nice town with more temples than houses, but it became so touristic and bit crowded every where

A tour Around Ubud  (Tegenungan Waterfall/ Goa Gajah Temple / Coffee fabric and the famous Luwak / Rice Terrace )

Time to leave the first half time of Bali, I needed some quiet and peace atmosphere for the last days of Ramadan, I took a fast boat from Padangbai to Gili Air in Lombok.

Gili Air Island

After 3 days in Gili Air of chilling, walking around the island, living in a quiet mood, no cars, no noise, time to leave this island, i am so thankful to Nira the owner of the guest house, she was so helpful, I recommend this stay : Tanga bungalows

With Nira and Emeric

I took a speed boat to Gili Trawangan ( Gili T ) , for the last days of Ramadan , this island is bigger, but always the same atmosphere with more activity for all ( renting a bike is the best way to discover the 7 km of perimeter, or by running 😉 )

The last day of ramadan was a special day, celebration the Iftar Aid was amazing in a total respect of customs

Idul Fitri in Indonesia

Time to go back under the sea with a really nice dive with dream diver, my first date with a baby shark

Gili T

2 Nights in Nusa Lembongan :

I took a speed boat from Gili T to Nusa L , stayed in Chillhouse Homestay and rented a scooter for 1 day : I wanted to work on my fear of scooters, it was the best island to, it was a bit strange at the beginning, but quickly I was more comfortable with.

Nusa Lembognan

Diving here could be interesting and also snorkeling to see the manta rayes, otherwise many interesting places to see in Nusa Lembognan and its small other neighbor island

For the last days of staying in Indonesia, I prefered to move to the south of Bali between Canggu and Kuta

Honestly, This part of Bali is the so crowded, many tourists so less authentic, but the sunset here is amazing

Sunset in Canggu

I went to Kecak Temple from Kuta to see the famous danse, without any regret, touristic but original and really well done, furthermore, it was always a pleasure to enjoy a magnificent sunset

Kecak Temple ( Ulawatu )

Time to leave Indonesia with the feeling that I could stay here for longer and longer, this country is big as well as the Indonesian people’s heart, I ll never forget their smile, the kindness and their joyful Sama sama.
